A conversation we had tonight:

Me: Who is ready to go to bed?
Z: Anybody. We don't want to go to bed yet!
Me: I have some new books we can read tonight that I got at the library.
Z: I want to read them NOW.
Me: Do you want to go read them in your bedroom and then go to bed? (Our bedtime routine)
Z: Yes!
Me: Okay, can I put Ivy to bed first? (I usually put her to bed first)
Z: NO, I want to go to bed FIRST!!
